In Memorium Trout Fishing in America Shorty<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 Cardiff College of Art, October 1973<\/p>\n

A fishing drawing \u2013 made in collaboration with an experienced fisherman \u2013 my homage to a character called, Trout Fishing in America Shorty,<\/em> in a short story of the same title by Richard Brautigan. Chinese brush, black ink, paper, river stones & fishing tackle. The fisherman was asked to treat the action as if he was going out on a normal day\u2019s fishing. To sit in a similar state of mind \u2013 patient, alert and attentive.\u00a0 The drawings done that day were displayed for the rest of the week on the walls of the studio space (in Cardiff College of Art).<\/p>\n
