States of order and disorder

Although what we call disorder is really only a different, often complex, kind of order, nevertheless I’ve used the two terms here as a way of suggesting a constant dynamic interaction in the physical world, and in our lives, between human modes of order (geometry, symmetry, grids, regularity, etc) and nature’s repertoire of orders (flow, flux, variation, asymmetry, etc). Some of the drawings include fragments of text.
